EVERYONE says this about me. I listen to foreign music because its fucking beautiful. I love French folk music and pop, and Spanish bachata, and disney songs in Italian. Music is a universal language, it’s about the feeling and emotion in the singers voice. You can understand a lot about a culture from their popular music too. I’ve also found that the more I listen to it the more I understand the language.

I have been listening to Port of Morrow on repeat since it came out. Nothing else, just that. James Mercer figuratively blows my mind.

Can someone please convince me that it is not healthy to listen to music that reminds me of my ex? I mean it doesn’t help that we had really good music compatibility. I stopped listening to music for a long time. But I LIKE the music that I like… i want to hear it. It makes me depressed though. It’s like a super catch-22. I tried listening to other genres of music but it just so happens that music in general reminds me of him. GOD DAMN IT.
